Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1

Samsung is not giving tablets despite falling demand: With the Galaxy Tab S5e, the manufacturer released a new model, which is well suited for video viewing thanks to OLED display and four front speakers. Also new: the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 in the entry-level segment.
Samsung has presented its new tablet Galaxy Tab S5e . The device has a 10.1-inch Super AMOLED screen, four front speakers, a quick charge and a good mid-range processor

The screen has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, giving a pixel density of 298 ppi. The speakers are each installed in the four corners of the tablet. If the user turns the tablet, the speakers are turned accordingly - so the sound is always the same no matter how the user holds the tablet.

Inside the tablet is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 670 SoC, a mid-range processor. The RAM is 4 GB, the built-in flash memory 64 GB. A slot for micro SD cards up to a size of 512 GB is installed.

The Galaxy Tab S5e is also optionally available with LTE modem. The tablet supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi controls the device to 802.11ac. The battery has a nominal charge of 7,040 mAh and supports fast charging

At the same time, Samsung has also introduced the Galaxy Tab A 10.1, a tablet in the entry-level segment. The device has a 10.1-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, inside working an Exynos 7904 SoC. The RAM is 2 GB, the built-in flash memory 32 GB. Also, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 has a slot for micro SD cards.

Galaxy Tab S5e available from 420 euros

Both tablets are shipped with Android 9. The Galaxy Tab S5e costs 420 euros, with LTE modem 480 euros. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 costs 210 euros, again, there is an LTE version. This costs 270 euros. Both tablets are expected to be available from 5 April 2019
