NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 ! finally been officially

NVIDIA's Turing midrange is here: The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti has finally been officially launched.
Compared to the GTX 1060, the GPU should have made a big leap in efficiency and performance - and at a particularly favorable price for Turing conditions

NVIDIA promises gaming at 120 fps
In competitive games like PUBG, Fortnite or Apex Legends, NVIDIA promises 120 fps at a resolution of 1080p. The level of detail that is possible to achieve these frame rates is not known. NVIDIA emphasizes that the GTX 1660 Ti is three times faster than a GTX 960, making it a particularly attractive upgrade for many players.

Turing: Faster and more efficient than Pascal
Even without RT cores, Turing is a big step forward. Compared to the Pascal architecture, Turing is 1.4 times more efficient. In the case of the GTX 1660 Ti, this means a power consumption of 120 watts, which means that the GPU should offer the best performance per watt in its class according to the manufacturer. Compared to the GTX 1060, the card should be 50 percent faster.
Technique: 1,536 CUDA cores, 6 GB GDDR6
For his money you get a GPU with 1,536 CUDA cores at clock speeds of up to 1.8 GHz, which can be overclocked depending on the cooling. By default, graphics memory is set to 6 GB of GDDR6 at a speed of 12 Gbit / s. All Turing features - apart from real-time raytracing - are supported.
Prices and availability
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is now available from various board partners. The prices start at 200 $ (RRP) and vary depending on the equipment. All information about the GTX 1660 Ti is now also available on NVIDIA's website
